Skin Classic for Dark Spots
Skin Classic is a device that safely treats minor skin irregularities in the epidermis of the skin. This device utilizes direct high frequency to enable a quick, precise treatment with little or no discomfort. Typically only one treatment is necessary to treat a variety of skin conditions, however results may vary per individual. The Skin Classic is a Non Laser treatment of a single skin irregularity. Most skin treatment irregularities can be done in a single session, however results may vary and require a few sessions.

Why do we get all these dark spots?
Dark spots on the skin are caused by an overproduction of melanin, usually triggered by sun exposure, acne inflammation, or hormonal changes like a melasma. If you have melasma, we prefer not to treat you. Melasma can be triggered more by any trauma to the skin.
- Sun exposure: UV rays activate pigment cells to create age spots or sunspots.
- Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation: Marks left behind after acne, cuts, or burns heal.

What will you need to prepare for after your treatment?
Your individual lesions will be red in the area of treatment. This redness should subside within a few hours. If you have very light skin it may take longer for the redness to subside post treatment. There will be a scab on the area similar to that of a pimple. This scab should be left alone and it will shed in approximately 7-10 days after treatment. After scab falls off you will continue to heal and some light redness may be present where the irregularity was for a while. Use a gentle cleanser & moisturizing sunscreen daily after treatments even in the winter time! Protect your skin, do not pick the healing scabs, and be gentle while your skin is healing.
